The project proposals are now being developed to Riba stages 3 &4 which require that the project is brought to building warrant standard. A number of funding applications were considered to fund this project and a funding bid to the SSE Hydro Community Fund was successful with the contract to carry out this work awarded to Tighean Innse Gall (TIG).  This will involve  collating all reports required to fulfil RIBA stages 3 &4 for our building upgrade,namely, planning submission, building warrant , engineering drawings, technical specifications, principal design review, tender documents,  pre construction information, tender evaluation, value engineering, preparation of contract documentation and contract award. The Trust aim to use the larger Generator building as a multi purpose community space, accommodate our Dark Skies project and provide artist workspaces with the smaller Annex building used to provide visitor accommodation.
